Peterson Killarney Red model B 10 med 9 mm filter
This is a Classic Calabash model from the famous Kapp and Peterson in Dublin. Beautiful red color with high gloss polish.
The pipe is named after Killarney, a charming town in County Kerry in southwest Ireland. Killarney has a rich history, the first settlement being the monastery on the nearby island of Innisfallen, founded in 640 by Saint Finian the Leper. Innisfallen Island, located in Lough Leane, was inhabited for about 850 years. Here are still the ruins of Innisfallen Abbey, where the Irish king Brian Boru is said to have received his education. Killarney won the award for Best Preserved Town in 2007.
